Race #1

Oil Nut Bay to Deep Bay

Start in the clear water off Oil Nut Bay and head downwind through Eustatia Sound. You’ll head downwind in the translucent waters inside Eustatia reef. You’ll see coral heads and the odd turtle, and maybe the big barracuda that lives in Deep Bay. The course will deviate into Deep Bay then head back out for the run down to the finish on the back side of Prickly Pear island. Course length: +/- 2-miles.

Race #2

The Anegada Run

The Anegada run- 7-miles down the length of Anegada. Flat water & plenty of wind behind you, plus translucent water. Pass Little Anegada, the mountains of conch shells near the Settlement, the fishing creek and mile after mile of mangroves. At the end you’ll skirt through the yachts abchored off the hotels near the finish. Finish on the beach at Pomato Point. Course length: +/- 7-miles.

Race #3

Virgin Gorda to Scrub Island

Afternoon race from Virgin Gorda to Scrub Island. Dead downwind in open water. Expect 1-2ft seas if the wind is calm but higher 3-5ft swells if the breeze is up. The finish will be off Scrub Island. Course length: +/- 5-miles.

Race #4

The Dogs to Beef Island

Start off The Dogs and head downwind past the tip of Scrub Island, then continue down past Marina Cay and Trellis Bay with a finish on Long Bay, Beef Island. This course offers potentially treacherous sea conditions in the channel dividing Trellis Bay and Marina Cay. The sprint to the finish is in the protected waters off Long Bay. Course length: +/- 4-miles.

Race #5

Buck Island to Little Thatch

The longest race of the week- 10-miles down the South shore of Tortola. 15-knot Tradewinds should be pushing you as you dig in for the long paddle down the entire South shore of Tortola. Expect wave action the entire length of the race, and potentially strong winds in the Narrows which are at the last mile or two of the race. The finish is on the beach of tiny Little Thatch where you can chill out and relax under the palm trees before an amazing gourmet lunch. Course length: +/- 10-miles.

Race #6

Sandy Cay Sprints

The final day offers a series of sprints around beautiful Sandy Cay, a gem of an island located to the East of Jost Van Dyke. The races are about a half-mile in length and will take paddlers around the island. This race offers a little upwind work, then a quick run around the island and a sprint to beach finish.
