New for Highland Spring HIHO 2010 is the addition of WETA trimiran racing. WETA’s are 13ft long and 10.5ft wide. Easy to sail with up to 19 sq meters of sail area they are ideal for a week of inter-island racing through the BVI. The WETA fleet will cover between 5-40-miles (9-72km) every day and cover 200+ miles (380km) of racing during the event.
WETA racers enter a boat and can race with up to 5-people during the event. Charter fee is $400 per boat. The WETA fleet will join the rest of the Highland Spring HIHO fleet for lunches on the beach. WETA racers and their friends & family will be accommodated aboard our fleet of Moorings yachts as the event winds its way through the British Virgin Islands.
- Teams will race each day starting June 28 and finishing July 3.
- Races will be both inshore and island-to-island long-distance courses.
- On-site WETA team to assist with rigging & logistics.
- WETA participants accommodated aboard captained yachts.
- Great meals & parties, and lots to do besides racing.

Captains
If you are participating as Captain you will be asked to provide your Boat/Team Name as well as a list of the names of your crew (your crew must regsiter seperately).
Crew
If you are registering as Crew, please provide us with your Boat Name and the name of your Captain so we may match up all crew registrations with their boats.
